Rules and Safety Guidelines

Traffic Laws: All participants must adhere to standard traffic laws while on the course. This includes stopping at traffic signals and yielding to emergency vehicles.
Safety Gear: Reflective vests are highly recommended, and runners on Legs 1 and 9 are required to wear them. Cyclists must wear helmets at all times.
Vehicle Rules: Each team is allowed only one vehicle, which must be clearly marked with the team number. No RVs, buses, or trailers are permitted.

Important: No parking on the left side of the highway. Violators may receive a ticket from law enforcement.

Exchange Points: Handoffs must occur at designated exchange points only. Failure to do so may result in disqualification.
Headphones: The use of headphones is discouraged for safety reasons. Participants should remain aware of their surroundings.
