Severe Weather and Safety Procedures

The event will proceed in rain or shine; however, race officials reserve the right to delay, modify, or cancel the event if participant safety is at risk due to:

• Severe thunderstorms or lightning
• Extreme heat or cold
• Tornadoes, hurricanes, or flooding
• Other extreme weather conditions

If severe weather arises:

1. Participants should seek shelter and wait for further instructions from race officials.
2. If the event is canceled after it has begun, participants will be guided safely to exit points.
3. All participants should have a personal emergency plan and communication method with their team.
